Barangay San Rafael III was a portion of the whole barangay of San Rafael, population grew so fast that the Municipality of Noveleta decided to divide it into 4 barangays, namely Barangay SR1, SR2, SR3 and SR 4 (SR mean San Rafael).
San Rafael III is situated at approximately 14.4324, 120.8778 in the island of Luzon.
