Mangroves a.k.a. Bakawan Tree Planting Activity 2017

It was a fine Saturday morning when we met at Coastal Bay City, barangay San Rafael IV at the Mangroves/Bakawan for a Tree Planting Activity supervised by MENRO Noveleta headed by Edgardo Chavez and MENRO members; participants from City of Dreams Manila Security Department, Phil. Coast Guard NCR.

The assembly area is Coastal Bay San Rafael 4, Noveleta, Cavite where a program and briefing will be held before going to the mangrove planting site and these will be attended by different participants coming from:
1. City of Dreams Manila Security Department
2. 107th Squadron
3. Coast Guard Air Group
4. Coast Guard Station Manila and Cavite Station
5. Noveleta Cavite LGU/MENRO

This event is in celebration of the 2nd Year Anniversary of 107th Squadron and the Community Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of City of Dreams Manila Security Department.

Banca is the primary transportation going to the planting site.On the mangrove planting site you can buy crabs and sea shell called Bahong. Other sea foods like talaba, tahong and daing (dried fish) can be bought along the streets before going to the assembly area.
