Today marks the campaign for the use/ re-use of eco bags headed by Hon. Councilor Kate Bernal - Chairperson Committee on Waste Management and Hon. Councilor Ellen Cerezo - Chairperson Committee on Public Market under the good supervision of the Ninong ng Bayan - Hon. Mayor Dino Reyes-Chua started the distribution of Free Eco Bags @ Noveleta Public Market, according to Hon. Coun Kate Bernal: "Ang mga Noveletans po ay hinihikayat na gumamit ng reusable bags imbis na plastic bags sa ating pamimili. Ito po ay isang paraan upang maiwasan ang pagdami ng basura sa ating bayan".
So After the regular Monday morning flag ceremony, 14th day of August, they started distributing eco-bags for FREE to all Noveletans.
