On 14 September 2018 Friday, BFP Noveleta FS Conducted Courtesy call to Hon. Mayor Dino Reyes Chua III For the Preparation on Typoon OMPONG headed by the OIC, Municipal Fire Marshal SFO4 Purisimo Frederick C Tabasa, together with Noveleta LDRRMO Headed by Jeg Alix. Also the office of the mayor have a meeting with the MERALCO as part of the preparation for the typhoon "OMPONG".
Typhoon Ompong makes landfall earlier than expected; with a strength of 205 KPH, carying heavy rainfall of 255KPH and a speed of 30 KPH heading west.
