Noveleta Town and other CAVITE LGUs RECEIVE SEAL OF GOOD HOUSEKEEPING

Cavite once again earned recognition for good governance when the DILG, through Secretary Jesse Robredo and Provincial Director Efren Echavia, awarded the Seal of Good Housekeeping to the province on February 10, 2012.

The good housekeeping seal is given to LGUs that excelled in the areas of planning, budgeting, revenue, mobilization, financial management, budget execution, procurement and resource mobilization. It also recognizes local governments that accord primacy to the principles of transparency and accountability. Recipients of the award also received one million pesos each from the DILG’s Performance Challenge Fund (PCF).

2nd Batch of PNP Patrol Vehicles Released

To enhance the capability in maintaining peace and order in the province and improve law enforcement, Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla awarded the second batch of PNP mobile patrol vehicles to the Cavite Provincial Police Office during the flag-raising ceremonies on February 13, 2012 in Trece Martires City. 

A total of 20 mobile patrol cars and two mu

lticabs with complete accessories such as blinkers, stickers, sirens and radio communications were given to CPPO since the governor has taken his seat as the chief executive of the province. The first batch was released in June 13, 2011 when the governor granted 10 mobile patrol cars, 25 base radio, 46 mobile radio, 55 handheld radio, one unit repeater system, 21 sets of SWAT tactical equipments, one piece combat shield, one piece dynamic entry black hawk and several buckles for the members of the CPPO.

PROVINCE OF CAVITE : Certified World-Class

Cavite Provincial Government headed by Governor Jonvic Remulla celebrates the conferment of ISO 9001:2008 certification 27 days ahead of schedule, making another record as the first ISO certified provincial government in the Philippines. This is the first in the Philippines. Announcement was made by Mr. Alvin S. Mojica, designated Quality Management Representative 

together with the ISO core team that made rounds in the Provincial Capitol placing “DONE” stickers on quality policy banners installed in all offices.

ISO certification process usually takes around six to eight months but with the dedication and hard work of the ISO core team and the cooperation of the entire workforce, the provincial government achieved the much awaited certification 27 days ahead of schedule.
