It all started in 1996, when "JPHILLY" found the love of his life, rap. In 2000,the rap group CBP, Cavite Born Playaz, was born 

of which JPHILLY was a part of. He has been seen front acting for known artists such as Francis Magalona, Andrew E. and Death Threat.

He also entered various rap contests like Eat Bulaga's RAPUBLIC w/ Kiko, RAP2K, and many more, none of these he won. In 2004, JPHILLY 

decided to break up with the love of his life to continue on with his studies. 

As we all know, Love is sweeter the second time around, JPHILLY gave rap another try. This time with a new attitude, he focused on rapping about something more sensible. In January 08, he began writing the song popularly known as , C.A.V.I.T.E. After a few months after its was release over the internet. People noticed the way he deliver his rap strikes the heart of many Cavitenos, the way he wrote those lyrics are so significant and historical. Because of his nationalistic views and his natural gift, he started the process of producing his own solo album. After many weeks of thinking, he came up with the title"Walang Imposible-sa Buhay Natin"(Nothing is Impossible in Our Life). This album will open the eyes of a blind mind. It is not an easy task entering the world of rap, at times of despair and self-doubt, he still managed to give way to rapping

2019 comes the year for the artist, he is now a professional recording artist who signed a contract from a popular recording company.
